Starting May 1st, the statewide Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) will open up to new solar + storage projects in all three of the major IOU territories of PG&E, SCE and SDG&E.  Under this program, battery + storage projects could see a rebate equal to 12%-15% of the total project cost which will often result in a shorter payback time than a stand alone solar project.  Also, battery + solar projects will actually receive priority funding should the program become over-subscribed.  Feel free to contact your Spectrum rep to find out more, or check out some excellent SGIP resources from GELI.

Finally, we want to acknowledge the hard work done by our friends at CALSEIA for making these new incentives possible!
